Produced by Fusion Distillery, Dagga Boy small-batch dark rum is made from a blend of locally sourced organic molasses, triple-distilled and matured in African red wine oak casks. No additives, colours, preservatives, or sweeteners. Each bottle is numbered, signed and dated. Bottled at 45%. (Bottle size 750ml)
Nose: Woody vanilla, rich caramel and citrus peel.
Palate: Opens up to deliver a rich roasted cocoa and spicy Saville orange taste on the palate.
Finish: Delicate notes of white pepper and a kiss of orange peel.
Based in Pretoria, Fusion Distillery is run by husband and wife team Tinus and Elsabe Steenkamp. What started out to be a hobby has grown into a business with a focus on producing gin and vodka, distilled from grains, and rum.
